Welcome to our new blog!

We’re excited to launch our brand new blog. A space where we’ll keep you updated on all the classes and courses we’re running, as well as share highlights from the interesting projects and events we take part in outside of the Round Tower.

Most of our classes take place in the historic Round Tower in Old Portsmouth, but we also love taking our workshops and group events to other venues. It’s a wonderful way to connect with more people and share creativity in different settings.

Just last week, we kicked off a brand-new 6-week course: Narrative Oil Painting, Figures in Their Environment. For our first session, we explored the theme of children in beach scenes—a brilliant start that inspired some fantastic work from our students. We can’t wait to see how the course develops over the coming weeks.

This blog will be our place to share stories like these, celebrate the work of our students, and give you a glimpse into what goes on in and around the studio. We hope you’ll enjoy following along!
