Introduction to Oil Painting — One Day Workshop

Always wanted to try oil painting but not sure where to start? Join artists Ella and Katie for a relaxed, one-day introduction to the medium in the beautiful and historic Round Tower.
Throughout the day, you’ll be guided step by step through the basics of oil painting – from how to apply the paint, to using different brushes, understanding colour theory, and experimenting with mediums. This is a practical, hands-on workshop designed to give you the confidence to get stuck in and enjoy the process.
There’ll be a break for lunch, and we’ll keep you fuelled with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day. All materials are included – just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to explore something new.
